Institutional Approach

Sustainable Campus is the name of Florida State University's Sustainability Office, who's aim is to embed living labs across campus as its predominant sustainability pedagogy approach. The Living Lab program connects university faculty and students to campus and community partners through multidisciplinary learning and applied projects, such as student food insecurity, waste and recycling, reimagining campus with sustainable design principles and developing wildlife refuges. Sustainable living practices are integrated throughout all the university's activities through climate action, waste management, resource stewardship and education for sustainable development.
