Institutional Approach

The FUCAPE Business School in Brazil is one of the youngest higher educational institutions in Brazil, founded in 2000. Their 120% Sustainable project aims to stimulate and increase the awareness of sustainability among stakeholders related to the institution, and transition business schools and economic practices towards sustainability. The project includes the training of future managers of companies to implement more sustainable practices, and the promotion of cultural and behavioral change that transcends the university population to act as an example for other business focussed institutions. The project covers a set of 18 sustainable actions which are connected to the triple bottom line and SDGs. This project serves as a template for business higher education institutes in engaged sustainble development.
