Lehigh University has divided their sustainability approach into six focus areas of climate action, educational experience, campus orientation, culture & engagement, health & wellness, and focused leadership, comprising 113 specific goals developed collaboratively within the university which will integrate sustainability throughout all aspects of the University. Sustainability is integrated into all aspects of the educational experience, with a goal for all staff and students to include one sustainability learning outcome into their teaching or learning by 2025. All students undergo a twice-yearly Sustainability Literacy Assessment to identify knowledge gaps.
