Thammasat University's Rangsit campus, Thailand, has launched a sustainability policy promoting nine critical sustainable development pillars, all incorporated into the study curriculum within mandatory subjects. Mandatory subjects for students include "Life and Sustainability”, “Environmental Technology” and “Project Sustainability”, aimed at increasing students' understanding of sustainability as well as their ability to self-integrate sustainable practices and individual reflexivity. On a university-wide mission level, Thammasat University has implemented a set of sustainable development policies covering topics such as energy management and conservation, environmental management, gender equlity and non-discrimination, and academic freedom.
