Sustainability is integrated into the curriculum at the Universidade da Coruña, Spain, as part of a collaboration agreement in 2014 with the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education. They participate in the implementation of the ‘Eco-Schools’ program in their green campus objectives and planning. An interesting pedagogical initiative was the use of participatory photography to allow students to create their own narrative about the sustainability experiential education at the university. This “photovoice” project can be used as a pedagogical reflexive tool when implementing green campus and sustainability educational initiatives.
This atlas is intended to grow and evolve in a spirit of co-creation with the international higher education community. We encourage you to submit examples of sustainability approaches or initiatives at your own or other institutes.
