The Research Institute for Sustainability Science and Technology of the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya Supports a university-wide mission of technological support for scientific, societal and economic progress. Their institute’s mission is to provide research, education and dissemination for a fair and sustainable transition, via inter- and trans-disciplinary methods, offering a Master’s degree in Sustainability Science and Technology and a Doctoral Degree in Sustainability. They run an international transdisciplinary summer school on sustainable land use, and participate in the project Energy For All 2030, promoting political and social involvement in sub-Saharan Africa. The institute actively promotes the integration of sustainability in a decentralized way across the entire university.
